I’m guest posting over at the Daily Garnish today. Go say hi to Emily and see what this plate of crispy spinach is all about. Yup, I fried spinach and I’ll do it again. While you’re over there check out some of Emily’s awesome vegetarian recipes, including these, which would look great on your Thanksgiving dinner table.

Amazing recipe Krissy! My wife and I used to go to Rasika and just get drinks and this dish for Happy hour. So amazing.
Thanks Nick. My sister and I are going to be in the city tomorrow around 3pm and were hoping to do just that, drinks and Palak Chaat, but they’re not open then! Whyyyy is it so hard to eat there?
Saw all the spinach in your frig & was going to make a giant salad, but thought, I bet she has plans for the greens. And a good plan it is. I’ll take a plate of it to go!
You could have eaten the spinach
I made this the other day and it was…ah-maz-ing! I did get oil absolutely everywhere though…too hot?
Do you think you could substitute canola oil for anything else such as coconut oil?
Yes, maybe the oil was too hot? I’m sure coconut oil would work. It may leave a coconutty flavor though? Not sure.

Hello! Where can I find the recipe for the Palak Chaat? I don’t see it here or the referral link, can you help (I love this stuff and have been looking for a great recipe for a while!).
Thank you,
Dennis
Hi Dennis, It should be in the link to above for “Daily Garnish” as well as “Emily.” If you scroll to the bottom of the post the recipe is there. If those don’t work for you try this http://www.dailygarnish.com/2011/11/make-it-naked-palak-chaat-recipe.html
